As part of the FIG, we want to create a data/privacy resource for CUNY faculty and students. Some ideas:

1. An advisory document that lists best practices for maintaining student data security while maintaining the “open” in open digital pedagogy.
2. A workshop aimed focused on using a particular tool (likely a wordpress based platform) in the ways that the best practices document outlines.
3. A series of blogposts on VP about student security that highlights the best practices from the document. Some of these posts could address student experience?
4. A map of where of the data goes. Where are the CUNYfirst servers? Where does Blackboard data go? Where are the servers for our open digital pedagogy platforms.
